GENERAL SITUATION:
The strong anticyclone to the South of the Mascarenes is causing a windy, cold and perturbed weather over our region.
FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS:
Fair weather in the evening. Afterwards the sky will become gradually cloudy at night with passing showers. The showers may be locally moderate at times.
The maximum temperature will be between 16 and 19 degrees Celsius over the central plateau and between 20 to 23 degrees Celsius along the coastal regions.
Cloudy periods tomorrow morning with passing showers.The weather will improve gradually in the afternoon however a few showers will be present over the high grounds and windward slopes.
The maximum temperature will be between 19 and 21 degrees Celsius over the high grounds and between 22 and 26 degrees Celsius elsewhere.
Wind east-south-easterly 25 to 35 km/h with gusts of the order of 75 km/h in exposed areas.
Sea rough to very rough beyond the reefs.
The public is advised not venture in the open sea as well as in the lagoons.
